Recently my wife and I experienced approximately 45 minutes of nonstop laughing at a very funny standup comedian event. And if the research is true, then we physically worked out for 6.75 hours. I have to tell you that is the best workout I've ever had. I was thinking about starting a new fad diet...the Laughing Diet...but someone already beat me to it.

ROMANTIC DATE IDEA: Create a night of laughter with your date. See how long you can laugh. What makes you laugh? What makes your date laugh? Is it...

...watching funny movies...Tickle or pillow fights...Going to hear a comedian...watching stupid videos or movie clips on YouTube...finding silly songs or people on itunes...searching for funny movie sound clips online (one of my favorites is listening to the little shrimp from the animated movie, A Shark Tale, try to convince the shark not to eat him)...telling jokes to each other...searching for funny photos on Flickr...How about an America's Funniest Video marathon? Sometimes we laugh when playing games like Cranium or Catch Phrase. Maybe reading a Far Side Comic book or going to the mall to watch people or inviting friends along that make you laugh.

Whatever makes you laugh until you cry or laughs your head off or makes your side split...that kind of sounds painful...then go for it. So tally up how many minutes you laughed and multiply it by 9 and that's how many minutes you worked out. Forget the gym just start laughing.
